Breaking News: Judge Allows Class Action Suit Against Swedish Hospital ER Overcharges

In the interest of our continuing reporting on price transparency and accountability, here is an interesting breaking story.

correction:  the original story posted the Judge’s decision as July 31, 2013.  The correct date is:  July 2, 2013, which has now been corrected. 

In a ruling on July 2, 2013, a King County Superior Court Judge allows a class action suit against Swedish Hospital for ER overcharges. Swedish has seven emergency rooms across the State.  Story broken by Puget Sound Business Journal.
